The best breakfast burrito in sf. I got mine with ham. Tried their other items and everything is delicious and has a fresh home made taste to the food. Their pupusas are delicious. The place is homey and cozy :)

You won't regret ordering the Huevos Al Gusto. Affordable and Delicious. I went around 9am so there was street parking available.

It's a pleasure to find a modest Salvadoran spot on 24th that appears completely unheralded by the hipsters but should be discovered by the rest of us, the ones who buy their shoes at Skechers and their produce at Casa Guadalupe. I was looking for a little breakfast after getting my first MP vaccination at Zuckerberg. I was in line for a while, but it was worth it. You can't be too careful or too hungry for that matter. The place was conspicuously empty at about 10:30AM, so of course, I was wondering if it was any good. The breakfast menu was quite robust and enticing as it encompassed Latin and American palates. Lunch options were equally comprehensive on the flip side, but I was definitely in an eggy mood. I ordered the $13.95 Spinach Scramble which was a big three-egger with spinach, tomato, and feta cheese (photo: https://bit.ly/3wE0W3b). It came with a hearty side of home fries, and it was all nicely executed. I decided I should have at least a taste of the Latin side of the menu and ordered the $5 Platanos, which was quite a plateful of not-too-greasy fried plantain slices (photo: https://bit.ly/3ToyKeE). A piping hot $3.50 cup of coffee was kept refilled throughout my meal. I was hoping more diners would come in, but alas, it stayed empty when I left. Here's hoping the unhip among us help them stay afloat. FOOD - 4 stars...satisfying grub done home style AMBIANCE - 4 stars...plenty of space in here SERVICE - 4 stars...attentive without being intrusive TOTAL - 4 stars...this sun also rises RELATED - Exploring the Mission? Homey cafe with great food. I had a vegan friend visiting and was doing some research on vegan-friendly places, and stumbled upon Sun Rise. We came on a Saturday for brunch around 11 AM and were seated promptly outside. It's in a really quiet and peaceful spot, and I really liked the vibe there. There are a ton of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. My friend went for a vegan pupusa, and I had a breakfast burrito with sausage. The prices are really reasonable, and the service was great too. I really liked the breakfast burrito - it was pretty sizable and flavorful too. I especially liked how the sausage got griddled so it was crisp. I would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you're ever in the Mission. I parked in the public SF garage on 21st and Bartlett and walked over.

This a Treasure restaurant located on 24th street. Their breakfast menu is marvelous. We truly appreciate and like that they have a super tasty vegan chorizo. Doña Alba is very attentive and dedicated to her customers. Thank you for cooking this delightful food everyday. Highly recommend it.

Quiet, peaceful spot with dog-friendly outdoor seating. Felt like I was eating a breakfast made by my grandma! Attentive, kind, prompt service. Great vegetarian or vegan options! Great pancakes, eggs, delicious coffee drinks. Chilaquiles were the showstopper! Sauce to die for. Partner loved the plantanos.

TL;DR - Great food with a homemade feel. I I stopped in here because I live in the neighborhood and they had a vegan breakfast burrito that sounded amazing that was offered to me as a promotion. I was surprised by how delicious the burrito was! It had avocado, beans, and other yummy stuff. I ended up having it as two meals. The salsa was also really easy on the taste buds, not too spicy - more on the liquid than on creamy side. I also got a horchata. It tasted like a chocolate horchata!! It was so fun. I will be visiting Sun Rise again. It was really delightful, and the decor reminds me of restaurants my mom used to take me to. Nothing fancy, just simple decor and good people running their business.

A little gem in the Mission. I would describe this place as quaint. The restaurant has limited indoor and outdoor seating and can handle a group no more than four. Really enjoyed the breakfast burrito! They have plenty of options from vegan, bacon, sausage or chorizo. I went with the latter and was satisfied. I also enjoyed the salsa it came with. The salsa had a small kick. If you like spicy food, it's the perfect side salsa for a burrito, eggs, chips, etc. SHOUTOUT to Yelp for the Elite Event here. Candidly, I have my go toes in the Mission and never would've thought of this place. But after the Elite event, it's now added to my list!

I came here to try their vegan breakfast burritos! It seemed like that was the most popular item on the menu. The staff here are friendly and the burrito was delicious and packed with fresh ingredients and soyrizo. My order came with fresh red salsa which went perfectly with my burrito. There's an outdoor parklet available for outdoor seating and indoor seating is also available. I'll be back to try some of the other dishes!

Def the spot if you're craving a vegan breakfast burrito! Super yummy soyrizo, with avocados and potatoes inside. Packed with flavor and a salsa that's delicious, really tasted even better than most non vegan breakfast burritos I've had. And it's pretty well priced too! The service here was also excellent, with all employees taking really great care of me, super accommodating!! Can't wait to come back and try out some other foods!
